We would love people with creative and technical skills (language translation, recording, videography and editing) to contribute to this project. Sometimes we don't have the resources to travel to the location of all families. And in some cases we may want to engage graphic artists or animators to bring the stories more to life.
We especially encourage those with culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds to get in touch as we try to pair up contributors to families with similar background so that their stories can be told more authentically and sensitively with all the cultural nuances to make the stories more engaging and compelling to relevant communities.
Aside from sharing our published stories digitally online, a really impactful way to reach community is using posters at community spaces like libraries, schools, sports clubs, and other community spaces. If you feel any particular family's story would speak to those in your community please get in touch (email address at the bottom of the page) and we can send you posters for those specific families (with QR codes linking to online content) to print and post up.
